It's Resurrection Weekend and once again I have been strategically reminded just HOW "Alive and Well" my Lord really is.
You see, I have a friend who loves The Lord and yet, he got "entangled again in a yoke of bondage." Don't we all go there from time to time? Down for the final count, But God!
Know that when we choose to take these difficult roads, and our sin, our entanglements are a choice, a bad choice at that. The Scripture is very clear about how this is to be handled by our friends who are standing by. We are told that "Ye who are spiritual, are to bear the infirmities of the weak."
Lord, help us all to realize what that means for each situation we encounter. Help us know that Your ways are not our ways, nor are your thoughts the same as our thoughts. Help us understand that we can, our friends can, also rise again.
And Lord, help us to realize that there will be times when the road we are on very well may become difficult, both for us and those we love, and yet, we can count on You to be with us. After-all, You Are Risen indeed, and with ALL power in Your hands. Thus, there's no giving up now!
